Superior are discontinuing Rainbows thread line in favor of Fantastico.
While both are made from trilobal polyester fibers, Fantastico is made from
high-tenacity trilobal fibers. This difference provides Fantastico with a
stronger breaking strength so it can be used on both longarm and home
machines at a higher speed with fewer tension adjustments.
Why we are recommending Fantastico over Rainbows? Below are a few reasons behind the change:
- Fantastico is available in over 150 variegated color blends (Rainbows is available in 62 colors).
- Fantastico
is made from high-tenacity filaments. This means the thread has a stronger
breaking strength and can perform better under high-tension stitching
scenarios.
